Discovery¶
Where community quizzes surface and how they are ordered.
Decision: ⚪ idea
Context¶
Surfaces:
- a browsable community catalog alongside our own quizzes
- the follow-up recommendation after a finished result
- the creator's own share links, which work regardless of ranking
Ordering comes from quality score, narrowed by category and tags. Official and community quizzes are always visually distinct.
Opportunity¶
- The audience is the thing we actually bring to creators - discovery is how it reaches them.
- A finished result is the best moment to start another quiz: it raises quizzes per session and gives new creators their first users.
- Non-political community quizzes broaden the entry points without touching the official catalog, and are the natural feed into myQuizzes.
Risk¶
- Mixing community and official content muddies what carries our editorial name; labelling has to be unmistakable.
- A large catalog with weak taxonomy is worse than a small one.
- Recommending an unrelated quiz right after a political result cheapens the result screen.
Decision¶
Idea. Taxonomy - fixed categories, free tags, or both - is unresolved and blocks the catalog design.
